This Saturday marks the return of The Hump Day Project to Brisbane to rock out the top floor at Family. Unfortunately only one half of the duo will be present but Athson is gearing up to work twice as hard and play an epic set. Joining him are locals Genreslut, Jordan Who?, Danny T and Jmac with Jeremy Iliev, Tim Plunkett, Fid Frantic, Olie Panda and Jason Morley playing in the Basement.

This coming Saturday we are pretty excited to be heading back to one of our favourite haunts, Sydney’s Chinese Laundry, to rock the main room alongside one of the UK’s most wanted dubstep DJs The Others. Nights at the Laundry are always pretty epic and this week will be no different with a huge line up that includes Will Styles, Pop The Hatch, A-Tonez, Neon Stereo, Samrai, Gabriel Clouston, DJ Eko and Ramske. Doors open at 9 and we recommend you get there early!

This Saturday night The Hump Day Project are playing at Carmen’s as part of the launch party for Acid Reign Clothing. Joining us are Detektives, Dainbread, Blanco Negro, Pretty Young Things, Dux Gutz, The Dutchies, Mitch Mishoes Hughes, Josh Landsberry and Altrez. It’s a pretty big line up for what’s looking to be a pretty big night!

This year’s Stonefest has gone through some changes of late with the whole line up being overhauled. The revised event is now a smaller more intimate affair with the focus being presenting some of the best dance and hip hop acts Australia has to offer. The line up now features The Aston Shuffle, Illy, Tonite Only, Flight Facilities, Sampology (AV/DJ set), Diafrix, The Hump Day Project and Dept. of Defiance with the Silent Disco featuring Strangeways DJs, Jemist, Pang! DJs, Architect DJs, Party By Jake DJs, Swim Team DJs, MUM DJs & M.I.T.. The party is still at the University of Canberra and tickets are still available through Ticketek for $27.50+bf

The Falcona guys have kindy asked us back to head up this Friday’s shindig at the Kit & Kaboodle Supper Club – these gigs are always fun because we get to bust out some classics, some cheese, plus loads of bootlegs and straight up party tunes. Roating residents are Alison Wonderland, Joyride, Hobophonics, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. DJs, Hansom, Devola, Starjumps and The Gameboys.

We are living up to our name with a mid-week gig this Wednesday at the Ranch Hotel in Eastwood. Along with Troy T and Joey Kaz, we’ve been asked to head up their annual patriot party and they are asking everyone to come dressed as their country of origin. There’s a $1000 travel voucher for the best outfit and it looks like a whole heap of fun!

After the epic time we had when we were there in February, we are geared up for a huge night – cannot wait!
